Job description

We have a permanent role for a Full-Stack Developer (C#, SQL, Vue . js) - midlevel to senior candidate. Northern Suburbs in Cape Town. This is a remote role (you need to have an office at home with excellent wifi and a laptop). The client needs the ideal candidate to live in Cape Town (not still having to relocate), and have their own transport for face-to-face meetings (from time to time).

CANDIDATES TO APPLY : Only Non-EE / AA candidates with a South African ID and excellent communication in Afrikaans as a first or second language. All other applications will fall by the wayside.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and enhance front-end interfaces using Vue . js, VITE and Tailwind
• Design and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable back-end systems using C# and SQL Server
• Utilize AWS and Azure for high-performance solutions (e.g. S3, Lambda, Azure App Service, Dynamo DB, SQS)
• Employ Python for automation and tool development
• Maintain code quality through thorough testing and QA processes
• Use Jira and Bitbucket for agile project management and version control
• Provide maintenance and support for legacy systems (ASP . NET WebForms, Vue . js 2, MVC and Classic ASP)

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Web Development, or a related field (preferred, not required)
• At least 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer , confident in both front-end and back-end development
• Proficiency with tools like Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), VS Code and Jira.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation.
