Zusammenfassung

LexisNexis Reed Tech is seeking a software engineer to translate product requirements into robust, well-tested solutions. You will design, implement, and unit test changes in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

The role focuses on data-intensive systems and modern development practices; experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, and React is valued, along with familiarity with Agile or Waterfall workflows.

Qualifikationen

Proficiency with data manipulation languages.
Understanding of data modeling principles.
Ability to work with complex data models.
Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, React.
Familiarity of industry best practices - code coverage.
Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Knowledge of test-driven development.

Aufgaben

Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
Resolve technical issues as necessary.
Complete bug fixes.
