Job summary

Hewitt Colenbrander Recruitment is seeking a hands-on lead developer to drive full-stack initiatives using React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript. You will design scalable backend services, work with SQL databases, and mentor junior engineers to uphold high-quality code and best practices.

The role requires experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and database design, with a strong emphasis on solution design and technical proposal development. A hybrid work environment is offered.

Job description

Technical Competencies & Experience:

1. Lead full-stack development


2. Strong proficiency in React and Next.js for modern frontend development


3. Solid backend skills with Node.js and TypeScript


4. Comfortable with SQL databases and schema design


5. Experience with backend-as-a-service platforms (Supabase or Firebase)


6. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure including deployment and monitoring (AWS or Azure)


7. Mentor junior developers and contribute to code quality and best practices


8. Participate in solution design, scoping, and technical proposal development
