Job description

Full Stack Developer position available in Stellenbosch.

We are looking to employ an experienced Full Stack Web Developer. You will be instrumental to the development team, based in the South African office. You will be hitting the ground running with in assisting with current project and will later train juniors as the business grows.

As the Senior Developer in South Africa, you will work hand-in-hand with the Developer abroad.

You must be able to work with cross-functional teams, designing and implementing end-to-end solutions, addressing business requirements and problem statements.

This is a Hybrid role, with 3 days in the office.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 – 8 years of experience in Web/Data Development
• Confident and able to hit the ground running

Backend Development:

• PHP (Laravel knowledge is a plus)
• MySQL / MariaDB (Database administration, queries, and optimization)
• JavaScript (Vue.js, jQuery, or React) for UI/UX improvements

Integrations & APIs:

• RESTful APIs (Building and consuming APIs for third-party integrations)
• Shopify API, Google Sheets API, Zapier, and other workflow automation tools
• OAuth, Webhooks, and API Authentication best practices

DevOps & Security:

• Linux server proficiency (Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Apache/Nginx configuration and troubleshooting
• Version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
• Basic cybersecurity practices (SSL, data encryption, access controls)

In addition, as ahighly preferredattribute:

• Preferred experience with SuiteCRM / SugarCRM (Customization, Module Development, Workflow Automation)
