Full Stack Developer required in Centurion, Pretoria.

Full Stack Developer required for a company that builds a range of powerful digital platforms that combines intelligent automation with secure, scalable systems.

Your role would be to build and maintain modern mobile apps and backend infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and futureproofing are at the core.

You’ll work across the full stack – from mobile app interfaces to backend services and cloud integrations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, creating clean, reliable systems, and collaborating across multiple technical disciplines.

Salary: R420k – R720k per annum.

Requirements:

• 3 – 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Experience deploying mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play using React Native
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs, and real-time data handling
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design
• Familiarity with AWS serverless services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Comfortable using Docker to manage development and production environments
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and testable code

Advantageous:

• Experience with content automation, media pipelines, or AI tools
• Experience with multimedia processing tools (like FFmpeg or AWS MediaConvert)
• Familiarity with Expo EAS (Expo Application Services) for mobile builds
• Python or AI/ML knowledge would be a plus
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or AWS CDK)

• Integrate with external APIs and services to enhance platform functionality
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and other teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Maintain high code quality through testing, reviews, and documentation
• Contribute to deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines (using GitHub Actions)
