We are looking for hungry and talented full stack engineers to join our client.

You will be a member of the team shipping the first version of their product.

Location: Cape Town / Hybrid / R CTC pm

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, React
• Knowledge of multi-paradigm languages
• Experience with serverless functions
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating and distributed systems, and databases
• Proficiency in languages commonly used in web application development
• Ability to leverage the best suited programming language or tool for a specific story or requirement
• Strong sense of ownership, ability to influence others, and collaborate across teams in English
• Experience with creating backend services
• Experience in logistics startups or companies (appreciated)

• Develop and improve resilient and scalable software solutions.
• Solve system design challenges within your team and across team boundaries in a product-centric environment.
• Follow agile working principles and focus on objectives and key results.
• Drive quality and standards in our engineering team, discuss innovative solution approaches, and suggest improvements.
• Ensure backend meets needs for feature development.
• Develop efficient solutions that scale for millions of users.
• Manage timelines and deliverables within the team to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with passionate professionals to build great products.
• Leverage appropriate technologies for specific requirements.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and champion quality.
• Work in a lean and adaptive environment.
