Placements24 is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer skilled in Node.js and React to contribute across the full software development lifecycle from backend to frontend. You will build robust, scalable applications for diverse clients in Port Elizabeth.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset. A degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred. Flexible hours and growth opportunities are offered.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proven expertise in Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong frontend skills including React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and implement responsive frontend interfaces using React.js and related libraries.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB for efficient data management.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define features and user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Implement automated testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
