Placements24 is seeking a versatile Full-stack Blockchain Developer to join their core engineering team in Bloemfontein. The role blends on-chain and off-chain work, building smart contracts and scalable web services for a leading FinTech platform.

You will design, implement, and test blockchain components, APIs, and frontend interfaces using React/Vue/Angular, with AWS/Azure CI/CD practices. A strong crypto passion and collaboration with product teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years full-stack development with at least 1 year in blockchain.
• Proficient in Solidity and blockchain platforms (Ethereum, BSC).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts for token issuance, trading, and platform features.
• Build and integrate backend services interacting with blockchain networks.
• Develop user-facing web applications using modern frontend frameworks.
• Implement APIs for frontend-backend-blockchain integration.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Stay updated with blockchain trends and participate in code reviews.
