Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Accountant for their Centurion office to manage the full accounting cycle, including payroll, AP and AR, and monthly close. You will prepare financial statements, conduct reconciliations, and ensure tax compliance in a hands-on role within a collaborative finance team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting and 3–5 years of experience, with proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations regularly.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax legislation and financial regulations.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
