Job summary

Elite Care Services is seeking a reliable Petrol Attendant in South Africa to provide excellent customer service, dispense fuel safely, handle payments, and maintain a clean forecourt.

The role requires good communication, the ability to work shifts including weekends, and physical fitness to stand for extended periods. Training will cover safety, product knowledge, and quality service.

Qualifications

• Matric or Grade 12 preferred.
• Experience in a fuel station or customer service environment is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Honest, trustworthy and dependable.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Dispense fuel accurately and safely into customer vehicles.
• Process cash, card, and other payment transactions.
• Check and top up vehicle fluids such as oil, water, and windscreen washer fluid when requested.
• Check tyre pressure and provide basic vehicle assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness of fuel pumps, forecourt areas, and workstations.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Report equipment faults, fuel leaks, or safety hazards immediately.
• Assist customers with general enquiries and directions.
• Promote fuel station products, services, and special offers.
