Job summary

Tumaini Consulting is recruiting for a highly experienced FSD Supervisor to lead a team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on ensuring efficient final storage and dispatch operations within a fabrication environment, while maintaining strict compliance with aviation and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a Matric, a Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, and at least 2–3 years in related roles, with knowledge of SHEQ and Isometrix.

Qualifications

• Must have Matric and a Diploma or Certificate in Logistics or related field.
• Experience: 3 years in fabrication or 2+ years in final storage and dispatch.
• Knowledge of international and local civil aviation regualtions for packing and shipping dangerous goods.
• SHEQ knowledge and ability to apply relevant practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the FSD team in Johannesburg.
• Ensure compliance with aviation packing and shipping regulations.
• Apply SHEQ practices and procedures in daily operations.
• Utilize Isometrix for safety, quality and compliance processes.

One of our clients are looking for a highly experienced and skilled FSD Supervisor to manage their team in Johannesburg.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric Certificate.
• A Diploma or Certificate in Logistics or a related field.
• 3 years’ experience in a Fabrication environment or a minimum of 2 years’ experience within Final Storage and Dispatch.
• Knowledge of advanced clerical, operational, or customer service skills acquired through education, experience, or on-the-job training.
• Knowledge of international and local civil aviation regulations regarding the training requirements for the packing and shipping of dangerous goods.
• SHEQ knowledge—Understand and apply relevant SHEQ practices and procedures.
• Knowledge and experience of Isometrix.
• Knowledge of Inventory management and stock verification principles.
