Placements24 is seeking a skilled Frontend Web Developer to join our Randburg-based team. You will build compelling user interfaces for web applications, translating design mockups into high-quality, responsive code in collaboration with UI/UX designers and backend developers.

You will ensure fast, scalable, cross-browser compatible experiences and contribute to refining frontend best practices within a collaborative office environment in Randburg.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Frontend Web Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with a major JavaScript framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less).
• Familiar with version control systems like Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive frontend web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into clean, efficient code.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
