The Landbanking Group (TLG) has been initiated as a moonshot project to revolutionize the way land is valued and used by land stewards, emphasizing ecosystem services as critical for equitable, resilient, and climate-compatible prosperity and peace.

TLG is committed to the SDGs, the Paris Climate Agreement, and biodiversity targets. It is a private, social-benefit company that brings together scientists, entrepreneurs, technology experts, and investors.

Our mission is to transform land use amidst climate change, extinction, and social divides. We utilize geospatial data, machine learning, satellite imaging, carbon and biodiversity analysis, metagenomics, open supply chains, and digital twins for land assessment and impact verification.

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our cross-functional teams, responsible for developing our global technology platform, APIs, algorithms, and tools.

Your tasks
  • Build the front end of our global technology platform
  • Contribute to agile planning, defining work breakdowns, estimating tasks, and setting milestones
  • Decide on non-functional requirements and technology stack
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues across the stack
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for integrations and knowledge sharing
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with large web applications
  • Advanced knowledge of React, JavaScript, Node.js, and tools like Git, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts
  • Experience with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
  • Ownership, responsibility, accountability for work and team
  • Good communication skills in English; German not mandatory
