La Cote d`Azur Timeshare Resort has a position available for a dynamic Front Office Manager / Duty Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and monitor activities of all staff in the Front Office Department, making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence required.
Work closely with Accountant, Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments.
Act as Manager on Duty for the resort, dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requirements and any other issues that may arise.
Control cash procedures, time keeping and schedules at all times.
Monitor stock control and purchasing.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Relevant Tertiary Education, High School diploma, General Education Degree or international equivalent required.
5 years previous Front Office experience in supervisory / Management capacity in a luxury property required.
English and Afrikaans language is mandatory and the ability to speak, read and write clearly.
Must be able to listen to, read and / or write instructions, memos, short correspondences and messages.
Extensive Opera Cloud experience a must.
Microsoft Office Suite intermediate level essential.
Must live in the Greater Margate / Port Shepstone area.
