Job Description:

  • Lead, support, and supervise the front desk team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Train new team members and maintain up-to-date departmental procedures and SOPs
  • Ensure all front office activities align with company standards, policies, and guest service expectations
  • Manage team schedules, workloads, and key control procedures
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring a personalised and professional experience
  • Monitor room availability, maximise occupancy, and track rate variances
  • Maintain strong communication with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and foster ongoing development
  • Oversee departmental budgets, daily financial reporting, and expense control
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide operational reports to management

Experience Required:

  • At least two years’ experience leading front office operations in a high-end boutique property
  • Hospitality qualification
  • Candidates must reside within neighbouring areas of the winelands
  • Confident using front office systems
  • Strong communicator
  • Solid admin and team management skills
  • Must have own reliable transport
