Job description

Job Title: Executive Personal Assistant

A market leader in the meat processing industry is seeking a strong Executive Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the CEO.

Position Requirements:
  1. Must have a tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years' experience reporting to and supporting a main Director, such as the MD or CEO.
  3. Knowledge of the food manufacturing industry in South Africa is preferred.
  4. Proven experience as an executive or professional assistant in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  6. Attention to detail, high accuracy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity tools.
  8. Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, scheduling, and correspondence handling.
  • Analyzing sales trends and preparing reports.
  • Organizing materials for meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Conducting research and data compilation for reports and projects.
  • Tracking budgets, expenses, and invoices.
  • Managing fleet, usage, and petrol cards.
  • Maintaining contact lists, databases, and files.
  • Overseeing special projects and events.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and service providers.
  • Handling confidential information discreetly.
  • Administering company cellphones.
  • Managing the office team’s activities, including leave and discipline.
  • Maintaining the office, building, and garden.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the CEO.
