Job Title: Front-End Developer (12-Month Contract | Hybrid)

Location: Bellville, Cape Town (Hybrid: 2–3 days in office)

We’re looking for a skilled, lively, and engaging UI Front-End Designer to join a dynamic, collaborative team on a 12-month renewable contract. If you have a passion for creating intuitive digital experiences, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Designing and delivering responsive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
2. Translating wireframes, user journeys, and business requirements into polished front-end designs.
3. Collaborating closely with UX designers, developers, and product owners in an agile environment.
4. Creating clean, efficient HTML, CSS, and front-end JavaScript (Angular, Node) for prototypes and design handovers.
5. Adding energy, creativity, and positivity to every team interaction.
6. Integrating front-end solutions with RESTful APIs.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues.
8. Staying updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 4–5 years’ experience in a UI front-end design role.
2. Strong portfolio showcasing responsive, modern web and mobile designs.
3. Experience using UI design tools.
4. Strong front-end coding skills.
5. Proficiency in: Node.js, JavaScript & TypeScript, CSS, Sass/SCSS, HTML, Angular, Git
6. Experience working with: REST APIs and integrations, Swagger, Postman
7. Data formats: JSON, YAML, XML
8. Solid understanding of databases and ability to run queries (e.g., via DBeaver): MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase (general familiarity sufficient; specific DB experience not mandatory)
