Front-End Developer

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team in the Eastern Cape.

The ideal candidate should have strong system analysis and design skills, object-oriented programming (OOP) experience, and expertise in modern front-end technologies.

You will be responsible for building responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications while working with large datasets and healthcare / medical systems.

Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is essential.

Responsibilities

1. Perform system analysis and design, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
2. Implement OOP principles to create efficient and reusable code structures.
3. Work with large datasets, ensuring fast and optimized data retrieval and display.
4. Develop healthcare or medical system solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
5. Integrate front-end applications with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) for scalability and performance.
6. Collaborate with backend developers, UI / UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
7. Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing systems to improve functionality and performance.

Requirements

1. Matric with 10+ years of experience OR Diploma in IT / Computer Science with 6+ years of experience.
2. System Analysis and Design experience.
3. OOP development experience with a focus on modular and scalable architectures.
4. Strong understanding of responsive web design and front-end frameworks.
5. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) for hosting and deployment.
6. Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance for data-heavy applications.
7. Experience with healthcare or medical systems is a strong advantage.
8. Knowledge of API integration, RESTful services, and database connectivity.
9. Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
