Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Pavement Engineer to join various short term contracts / gig work with clients. This is in Johannesburg

Requirements:

·BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering

·Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in pavement design, analysis, and rehabilitation

·Strong technical knowledge of materials, pavement evaluation methods, and construction practices

·Familiarity with relevant South African standards and specifications (e.g., TRH, SAT, COLTO)

·Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines

Role Involves:

·Conducting pavement condition assessments and investigations

·Developing rehabilitation strategies and pavement designs

·Preparing technical reports and documentation

·Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams where necessary

Ideal Candidate:

·Registered or eligible for registration with ECSA (preferred)

·Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable to remote or hybrid work settings

·Comfortable working on a flexible schedule
