Freelance Interior Designer / Creative Assistant (Remote – South Africa)

Are you passionate about interior design and looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to gain hands-on experience?

We're seeking a Freelance Interior Design / Creative Assistant to support our growing design studio.

Requirements:

1. Studied interior design (students welcome)
2. Reside in South Africa
3. Available during working hours
4. Strong organizational and research skills
5. Proficient in Canva or PowerPoint for presentations
6. Social media savvy (content creation & post management)

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with interior design admin tasks
2. Source FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)
3. Compile design schedules & documentation
4. Follow up with suppliers & obtain quotes
5. Create & manage social media content
6. Find client / project leads
7. Develop mood boards & presentations
8. Research design trends & materials
9. Organize design inspiration folders by style or room type
10. Identify new suppliers & trade resources
11. And more!
