We are looking for a passionate TTL Mid-weight Art Director with advertising agency retail client experience, someone with a strong creative portfolio that showcases the skill set to capture promotional excitement and breakthrough designs for a national retail client. The successful applicant will be tasked to carry visual and conceptual skills from initial brief to final artwork.

Our ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, work well under pressure with quick deadlines, high work volume, and demanding pitches. We want someone resourceful, a self-starter, and a conceptual thinker. If you possess these qualities, have great communication skills, exceptional layout skills, and knowledge of art direction in an agency environment, and can collaborate well with others, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team under the leadership of a Group Head and Creative Director to conceptualize and execute campaigns based on client and internal briefs.
  • Present work confidently and creatively to clients and senior creatives.
  • Be skilled in design and conceptualization.
  • Maintain high standards for execution and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team and other departments.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, especially during challenging times.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years’ experience as an art director in a large or integrated advertising agency.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment is preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with social media design across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator (non-negotiable). Figma and After Effects are a plus.
  • Experience in digital and experiential advertising is advantageous.
  • High standards for execution and attention to detail.
  • Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to support creative and business objectives.
