Minimum PSIRA Grade C (registered and current)

CPO course with SASSETA Unit Standards or equivalent

Medical Level 3 (current)

Advanced Driving (current)

SAPS issued firearm competency for HG (SG & SLR will be an added advantage)

Current driver's license (PDP will be an advantage)

Applicant will be subjected to a driver evaluation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Computer literacy is essential

Presentable with impeccable attention to detail

No criminal record

At least 1 year's experience as a CPO

Own reliable transport

Minimum fitness and shooting standards (Regulation 21) must be achieved

Candidates will undergo ITC (Credit) and criminal record checks

Candidates will be expected to undergo a polygraph test prior to employment
