Placements24 is assisting a leading insurance provider in Vereeniging, Gauteng to recruit a meticulous Fraud Investigations Specialist. You will identify, investigate, and prevent fraudulent insurance claims, partnering with law enforcement and legal counsel.

Hybrid work combines office-based investigations with remote analytics in the Vereeniging area, offering opportunities to contribute to loss prevention and ongoing improvements in fraud detection processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fraud investigation, preferably in the insurance industry or related fields.
• Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and common fraud schemes.
• Excellent analytical, research, and interviewing skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims across lines of business.
• Gather and analyze evidence, including claim files and financial records.
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and other parties involved.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal counsel, and stakeholders as needed.
