We are hiring a Franchise Head CM&E in South Africa.
Your goal will be to define the 'Acceleration Plan' for the Cardio Metabolic & Endocrinology (CM&E) business in South Africa and to build a refreshed Growth Roadmap including key products and launches.As a Franchise Head CM&E, your responsibilities include : - Demonstrating a good understanding of broad market opportunities.- Identifying and encouraging the use of strategies and services that give the organization a competitive edge and maximize impact to reach broad patient groups.- Determining the strategic direction of the CM&E business for the region in alignment with the Leadership team.- Overseeing annual marketing and sales plans for the country in line with global strategies to drive sales achievement.- Bringing all functions together to set strategy and operational plans.- Recruiting, developing, and motivating your team to optimize performance and regional business success.- Ensuring strict compliance with internal and external marketing regulations, managing customer credit risks, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.- Providing leadership to the Sales and Marketing teams to foster a highly engaged, inspired, and results-driven organization and high-impact culture.Who You Are- Qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Sciences; postgraduate degree / MBA preferred.- Experienced in a senior management role within the pharmaceutical industry.- Proven success in developing high-performing teams and business turnarounds.- Strong strategic cross-functional leadership skills.- Extensive experience in Commercial Operations, understanding of customer and regional markets, brand knowledge, financial and business skills, as well as legal and industry requirements.- In-depth knowledge of the South African market.This role supports employment equity and encourages applications from previously disadvantaged employees, in line with the company's Employment Equity Plan.What We Offer : We are curious minds from diverse backgrounds committed to innovation and excellence.
