takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Franchise Compliance Controller to join our Kwa-Zulu Natal Team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor and report on franchise and driver performance and operational compliance in the field.
- Gain understanding of operational levers affecting performance regionally and at the branch level.
- Train and inform SOPs at franchise levels (Managers, Drivers), and identify non-compliance issues for escalation.
- Assist in improving SOPs across the delivery network.
- Maintain service levels according to SLAs and implement corrective measures within service hubs.
- Monitor branch adherence to franchise agreements and KPIs.
- Manage and improve weekly KPI performance at franchise level.
- Conduct regular audits to assess performance and compliance.
- Travel locally within the region and to regional branches as required.
- Address key metrics related to driver growth, performance management, complaints, and customer satisfaction, providing weekly reports.

Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 3 years in a client-facing operational role.
- Degree or equivalent in process analysis and management.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proven operational delivery record.
- Experience managing outlets, hubs, or restaurants is advantageous.
- Experience in hospitality/retail franchise is advantageous.
- Training experience and IT savvy are advantageous.
- Field-based work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to analyze eCommerce metrics for improvement opportunities.
