FP&A Analyst

A rapidly scaling international tech company is currently seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join the team in Stellenbosch.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities and Excel skills. You will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A. You will be responsible for analysing budget performance as well as building, maintaining, and enhancing financial models that support strategic planning, investment analysis, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and refine financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
2. Analyse budget performance, explaining variances and identifying risks/opportunities.
3. Produce clear, insightful financial reports and dashboards.
4. Collaborate with Regional Financial Officers on budgets and forecasts.
5. Support strategic initiatives, cost-saving opportunities, and business evaluations.
6. Clean and structure data using Power Pivot, Power Query, and modelling tools.
7. Identify and implement process improvements and automation.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Qualified ACCA, CIMA, CA(SA), CFA, or FMVA
2. 2+ years' experience in financial planning, modelling, or valuations
3. Advanced MS Excel skills with strong 3-Statement model building experience
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.

Salary:

R600 000 - R1 000 000 / year CTC depending on the candidate’s experience
