What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Head of FP&A you’ll be involved in:

  1. Create and refine financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  2. Deliver high quality outputs/models to specified deadlines.
  3. Back testing budgets, forecasts to actuals explaining variances.
  4. Reviewing financial models, data, spreadsheets, budgets and reports, and translating quantitative information into easily communicable findings or implications.
  5. Collaborate with Regional Financial Officers to create accurate and achievable budgets and forecasts.
  6. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, offering clear insights into performance against goals.
  7. Monitor budget performance, explaining deviations and identifying risks and opportunities.
  8. Create dashboards and visualizations to present complex financial data.
  9. Assist with input for strategic initiatives, including investments, cost-saving opportunities, and growth strategies.
  10. Assist with ad hoc analyses to evaluate business opportunities or address specific operational challenges.
  11. Cleaning of data using Power Pivot, Power Query, modelling tools.
  12. Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes.
  13. Strong output will result in more responsibility.

Who We’re Looking For

  1. Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Accounting.
  2. Completed a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA(SA), CFA, FMVA).
  3. 2+ Years' experience working in a planning, financial modelling or valuations team.
  4. Highly skilled in MS Excel with strong 3-Statement model building experience.
  5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Experience using different coding languages is desirable, such as BQ SQL.

  1. Take full responsibility for the revenue model partnering with regional finance officers.
  2. Take full responsibility for balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
  3. Refine, simplify and automate financial models and processes.
