Job summary

Permanent is seeking a skilled Millwright with strong hands-on experience in heavy-duty industrial manufacturing. You will fault find on all machinery, prevent electrical and mechanical hazards, and ensure safe plant operation.

Responsibilities include completing jobs per maintenance schedule, reading electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings, and providing timely updates to supervisors while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a heavy-duty Industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years as a Millwright.
• Read and interpret electrical – mechanical pneumatic/hydraulic drawings.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatic circuits and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Fault find on all machinery to ensure safe operation.
• Prevent electrical hazards such as loose motor cables and damaged push buttons.
• Address mechanical hazards such as lubrication/hydraulic oil on factory floor and damaged safety fences or gates.
• Complete jobs according to priority and planned maintenance schedule.
• Acquire knowledge to repair air compressors/driers and cooling towers.
• Respond to call outs and breakdowns.
• Submit daily job/time sheets promptly and keep supervisors updated on progress.
• Maintain open communication with maintenance team and assist others to complete tasks on time.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
