Curro seeks to appoint an Afrikaans FAL Teacher (Foundation Phase) at The Kings School in Linbro Park to commence duties in January 2027. This full-time position involves delivering the Curro curriculum and promoting learner-centred growth across activities and assessments.

• BEd and/or PGCE in foundation phase education, with an honours degree advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a foundation phase teacher.
• Knowledge of the IEB curriculum.
• Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and coordinate a range of subjects per Curro foundation phase curriculum.
• Review and adjust term plans, with customised plans for pace and revision.
• Manage classroom design, discipline and communication with learners and parents.
• Oversee assessments, rosters, revision packs, moderation and interventions.
• Plan and manage homework per grade, including reading level progress.
• Plan and manage extramural activities and outings.
