Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Work within the company's framework to consistently achieve above the Company KPIs with professionalism, ensuring internal and external customers are satisfied with the service levels.
  • Ensure all new and used equipment are repaired, serviced, and assembled to agreed standards of quality, on time, and within budget.
  • Handle all technical problems arising in the field or workshops, working directly with manufacturers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Carry out all field product improvements or updates as instructed by manufacturers.
  • Keep accurate timesheets and travel logs.
  • Post completed jobs received from the Service Controller on the TomTom system once finished.
  • Submit completed timesheets with WIP numbers, travel logs, and job cards daily via the Magnitude App or manual process.
  • Identify any accident damage or abuse on contract machines, obtain photos, and diagnose the root cause.
  • Maintain a tidy, well-equipped van and toolbox, and present oneself professionally in appearance and conduct.
  • Report any bad driving or abuse of customer machines to the Contract Manager and customer immediately.
  • Comply with all OSHACT requirements when working on customer sites.
  • Participate in good people management practices, including maintaining a formal balanced scorecard and conducting performance reviews twice a year.
  • Maintain health, safety, environmental, and company standards and policies.
  • Follow the company code of conduct and policies.
  • Adhere to risk management policies to protect company assets and personnel.
  • Submit all claims (overtime, commission, standby) to the Service Controller for processing by the 5th of each month.
  • Complete all quote request forms with part numbers and submit to Controllers or Contract Managers daily.
  • Update load tests and service stickers; inform the Contract Manager or Controller if a load test or service is due.
  • Record all battery voltages on job cards.
  • Document all attachments with serial numbers, indicating if they are Cascade or Micron.
  • Record tire wear, fork wear, and chain wear percentages on job cards.
  • Send photos to the Service Controller or Contract Managers showing load test dates, stickers, last service stickers, and any abuse or negligence issues.
  • Ensure all parts received and returns are documented, signed, and added to the job card when submitted.
