Job description

Forklift Sales Specialist required in Johannesburg / East Rand.

An opportunity for an experienced Forklift Sales Specialist is available for permanent employment based in East Rand.

Salary: R30 000 – R40 000 per month.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To develop and expand the company’s growth in the Material handling sector by continuously identifying and researching new products and services that will maximise current and develop new strategic facilities and accounts.
• To maximise machine sales by assisting the sales team to achieve their targets, and to build solid customer relationships to ensure the Company meets its targets.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / N3.
• Sales Diploma will be advantageous.
• 5 years of product development and sales experience in a relevant industry.
• Proven track record of successful product or business optimisation/growth in the relevant industry.
• Experience in the specifications of building material handling equipment.
• Warehouse design and understanding of how to maximise the efficiency of the machinery therein.
• Experience of working/ selling into non-SADAC African projects will be advantageous.
• Experience of selling entire packages of than ten machines will be advantageous.
• Counter balanced, forklifts and reach-truck experience will be advantageous.
