Job summary

Heineken Beverages, based at Wadeville Production, seeks candidates for placement in the Materials department. Report to the Team Leader and assist with forklift duties while maintaining safety and quality standards on the production floor.

Responsibilities include sorting/packing returnable materials, storing and stacking, and participating in all mini business activities. Candidates must have forklift experience, a valid license, and the ability to work shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as a general worker in a Production environment.
• 2 - 3 Years Forklift driving experience
• Valid and up to date Forklift driver license is required
• English Proficiency is a must
• Basic Computer Literacy
• Medical Fitness
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be physically healthy and strong to perform strenuous duties from time to time.
• Ability to initiate action spontaneously without being urged on to do so.
• Must be willing to work shifts, including night shift, overtime and weekends if required.
• Ability to work within a team is essential.
• Clean and Sober Habits

Responsibilities

• Sorting and repacking of returnable packaging materials as per agreed quality standards of supplier
• Storage and stacking of returnable packaging materials.
• Adhere to safe working procedures, practices, and safety regulations always.
• Actively involved in all Mini business activities
• Perfom reasonable tasks as and when required.
• Assist with Forklift drivers’ duties as part of development
