Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience with forklifts and MEWPs.
• Valid driver's license (Code 08 or higher).
• Familiarity with brands such as Niftylift, Genie, JLG.

Overview

We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Forklift & MEWP Technician to maintain and repair a wide range of lifting and access equipment. If you're skilled with forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, or cherry pickers, plant, and machinery — we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain forklifts and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs).
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
• Respond to field service call-outs and breakdowns.
• Complete detailed job cards and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, OEM, and company standards.

Qualifications

• OEM Certification or Red Seal Trade Test (Diesel / Auto-Electrical / Millwright).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on experience with:
• Forklifts (diesel, LPG, electric)
• MEWPs (scissor lifts, boom lifts, cherry pickers)
• Earth Moving Equipment
• Valid driver’s license (Code 08 or higher).
• Ability to work independently and travel to client sites.
• Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with brands such as Niftylift, Genie, JLG, Haulotte, Skyjack, Toyota, Crown, Hyster, Manitou, Caterpillar, JCB.
• IPAF or working-at-height certification.
• Background in rental fleets, mining, or construction machinery support.
