Job summary

A leading company in the beverage industry is inviting applications for the Warehouse Coordinator position. Based in Springs, successful candidates will be responsible for safe handling of pallets, maintaining quality standards, and assisting in stock management. Ideal candidates will be Matric qualified with a forklift licence and relevant warehouse experience, showcasing effective teamwork and physical endurance.

Qualifications

  • Valid forklift driver's licence [Code F2: counterbalanced K-Tandem lift truck up to rated capacity of 3500 kg].
  • At least 12 months relevant experience in a Warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Move and stack, load and off-load pallets safely.
  • Complete administration regarding forklift-truck maintenance.
  • Provide high levels of service to customers.

The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Co-ordinator

Key Performance Areas Include (but Are Not Limited To)

  • Ability to move and stack, load and off-load both empty and full pallets in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Completing administration with regard to forklift-truck maintenance.
  • Providing a high level of service to customers.
  • Performing stand-in duties and assist with stock-takes when required.
  • Maintaining and adhering to Quality, Health & Safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Active participation in Mini-Business activities (MDWT).

Requirements

  • Matric
  • A valid forklift driver's licence [Code F2: counterbalanced K-Tandem lift truck up to rated capacity of 3500 kg]
  • At least 12 months relevant experience, preferably in a Warehouse environment.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
  • Must be able to work well within a team.
  • Must take ownership of area of responsibility.
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or shifts when required.
  • Reliable transport to and from work
