Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Cape Town is seeking a reliable forklift operator to ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods in our warehouse.

You will load, unload, move and stack stock, maintain FIFO storage, assist with receiving and dispatch, perform daily forklift inspections, uphold health and safety standards, and work closely with the warehouse team to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, move, and stack stock
• Ensure accurate handling and placement of goods
• Ensure stock is stored correctly using the FIFO principle
• Assist with receiving, dispatching, and stock control
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any faults
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
• Work with the warehouse team to support efficient operations
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
