Job description

Primary Purpose: To generate revenue for Bidvest by sourcing new clients and proactively managing the account to maximize profitability.

Objectives: To grow and retain a portfolio of banking relationships by providing value-adding banking solutions and services to existing customers, and developing important revenue-generating client relationships.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • National Diploma in Finance or Certificate in Banking
  • RE5
  • Ideal: BCom in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or Banking

Competencies:

  • Ability to develop a plan to achieve sales objectives and targets
  • Financial acumen with sound FX business knowledge
  • Proven success in new business sales
  • Strong communication and sales principles understanding
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Sound Financial Services / FX market knowledge
  • Credit assessment and deal structuring skills
  • Knowledge of money markets, legislation, and statutory requirements

Experience: 3 to 5 years in Forex or similar roles

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. FX Revenue & Profitability: Drive sales to achieve targets, acquire and onboard new customers, ensure sales targets are met, and contribute to revenue generation.
  2. Customer Centricity & Stakeholder Management: Deliver excellent customer experience, achieve NPS targets, conduct client visits, manage client queries, and promote cross-selling and migration opportunities.
  3. Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate customer information capture, seamless onboarding, and compliance with internal processes and regulations.
  4. People Management: Contribute to team effectiveness, share knowledge, mentor team members, and provide sales reports.
  5. Learning and Growth: Own personal development, stay updated on compliance and market trends, and build personal intellectual property.
