Primary Purpose
To generate revenue for Bidvest by sourcing new clients and proactively managing the account to maximize profitability. To grow and retain a portfolio of banking relationships by performing proactive value-adding partnerships, providing banking solutions and services to maintain and grow the existing customer base. To develop and maintain a portfolio of important revenue-generating client relationships.

- Ability to develop a plan to achieve sales objectives and targets
- Financial acumen with sound FX business knowledge

- Sound Financial Services/FX market knowledge
- Credit assessment and deal structuring skills

Duties and Responsibilities
FX Revenue & Profitability
- Plan, initiate, and drive sales to achieve targets for Forex clients
- Acquire and onboard new customers
- Ensure sales targets and budgets are met
- Contribute to revenue and returns generation
Customer Centricity and Stakeholder Management
- Deliver excellent customer experience aligned with Bidvest Bank standards
- Achieve NPS customer survey target
- Conduct client visits as per schedule
- Maintain continuous client interaction via face-to-face and telephonic check-ins
- Address client queries promptly
- Manage review process of client facilities proactively
- Train and assist clients on relevant systems
- Align onboarding with internal processes (compliance, credit, stakeholder engagement)
- Encourage account activation and cross-selling
- Submit sales leads and ensure conversion targets
- Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities
- Manage portfolio and stay informed on market indicators
- Promote products like ABF, BMS, Trade Finance
- Identify migration and conversion opportunities
- Manage stakeholder relationships (legal, credit, bankers, back office, treasury)
Operational Excellence
- Accurately capture customer information during origination
- Ensure seamless onboarding aligned with internal processes
- Maintain up-to-date customer records
- Perform KYC verification throughout the customer lifecycle
- Assist with SARB applications and manage related queries
People Management
- Contribute to team effectiveness and accountability
- Share knowledge and mentor team members
- Provide regular sales reports
- Review and update client files
- Manage client interactions on CRM
