  • Conduct internal training sessions to uplift Exchange Control knowledge across departments.
  • Document SOPs and processes to ensure continuity and compliance.

Overview

Our client, a specialist financial institution providing FX solutions and secure international currency transfers, is seeking a Forex Consultant / Foreign Exchange Consultant to join their Cape Town office. This role ensures compliance with SARB Exchange Control regulations and acts as a key reference point for both internal teams and clients. You will manage regulatory oversight, guide clients through SARB applications, deliver training, and streamline exchange control processes, while supporting cross-functional teams to deliver compliant and client-centric solutions.

Minimum Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Forex / Exchange Control or foreign exchange compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of SARB Exchange Control rulings and foreign exchange regulations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex regulations for clients and teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office; workflow/process documentation skills an advantage
