Join Our Team as a Forensic Manager at Old Mutual South Africa

Old Mutual South Africa is seeking a Forensic Investigations Manager to lead and oversee forensic investigative disciplines across regional teams. This role is based in Cape Town, Mutual Park, and offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial integrity and innovative forensic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage forensic teams, developing strategic and operational relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee planning and execution of forensic investigations, including sensitive and cross-border cases.
  • Ensure investigations adhere to forensic methodologies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
  • Compile and review reports on findings, trends, and modus operandi, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships within the region, including service providers and industry forums.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Forensics, Accounting, Law, Criminology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFE, ACAMS) are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 8 years in forensic investigations within financial services, with at least 5 years leading forensic teams.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in forensic methodologies, investigation techniques, and financial crime regulations.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
