Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Forensic Accountant to join its Cape Town team. The role focuses on investigating financial irregularities, detecting fraud, and providing expert analysis and testimony in legal proceedings.

The ideal candidate will have a CA(SA)/CPA/CFE designation or equivalent, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least six years of forensic or investigative accounting experience, and strong reporting and communication skills to support litigation and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA(SA), CPA, or CFE designation is essential.
• Minimum 6 years in forensic accounting, auditing, or investigative work.
• Proven fraud detection, investigation, and litigation support experience.
• Strong knowledge of SA corporate law, criminal procedure and evidence rules.
• Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in data analysis software and forensic tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High integrity, discretion and professional ethics.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities
