Job Description

  • Must have control over workshop operations.
  • Ensure that housekeeping is done daily.
  • Handle all work in process in the trailer repair workshop.
  • Provide excellent pre- and post-sale service.
  • Ensure work is completed daily.
  • Ensure work is completed within the quoted hours and delivery date as per quotation and agreement with the client.
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Evaluate damaged trailers.
  • Build strong and sound customer relationships.
  • Liaise with clients and estimators daily to ensure proper planning.
  • Maintain quality control throughout the repair process.
  • Inspect materials daily and liaise with stores to ensure proper material planning.
  • Maintain discipline on the floor and ensure targets are met.
  • Evaluate the skill levels of the production team.
  • Provide additional training where needed.
  • Manage labor hours daily, including overtime.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Matric qualification.
  • Bilingual proficiency.
