Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or related life science.
• 2-4 years of experience in a food microbiology lab.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and standard testing methods.
• Knowledge of foodborne pathogens and spoilage organisms.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using standard and advanced techniques.
• Identify and quantify microbial contamination, including pathogens and spoilage organisms.
• Conduct environmental monitoring programs and validate sanitation procedures.
• Interpret test results, investigate deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
