POSITION INFO :

Food Safety Coordinator Operations is accountable for specialist outputs, as well as initiating quality standards within defined work routines and policies. Job Purpose: To ensure the effective monitoring and improvement of the FSMS, conduct food safety audits, manage pest control, and conduct food safety inspections. Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

1. Food Safety Management System
2. Food Safety Team Leader
3. Continuous monitoring and improvement of the FSMS
4. Coordinating Monthly Food Safety Meetings & Annual Food Safety Management Review
5. Enforcing Change Management Controls regarding Food Safety Audits
6. Planning and coordinating internal audits
7. Representing TBC during external/3rd party audits
8. Managing audit findings, corrective actions, and verification
9. Managing CCPs and OPRPs, reporting failures, and taking corrective actions in consultation with the Quality Manager and GM
10. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer food safety mandates/requirements

Pest Control

1. Internal Pest Management for plant and DC
2. Appointed pest control officer
3. Managing pest control records
4. Analyzing pest control trends

Inspections

1. Inspecting Plant Hygiene Units, grounds, and facilities
2. Conducting Plant Cleaning, Glass, and Foreign Body Inspections

Adherence to Standards

1. Ensuring compliance with Quality, Food Safety, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
2. Enforcing food safety and health regulations
3. Maintaining personal hygiene according to the organization’s code of conduct
4. Implementing contamination control measures
5. Following health and safety procedures and incident reporting
6. Staying updated with policies and legislations, enforcing GMPs
7. Attending and enforcing training sessions related to Quality, Food Safety, and Health & Safety

General

1. Ensuring housekeeping is performed and activities are stored properly within designated areas
2. Being familiar with relevant policies, processes, and procedures
3. Assisting with tasks outside of the formal job description as needed
