REQUIREMENTS :
  • Over 5 years of experience in the food industry
  • Preferably qualified as a Food Safety Lead Auditor
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including FSSC 22000, BRCGS, GLOBALG.A.P, and SIZA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Holds a Diploma or Degree in a food-related field such as Food Technology, Agriculture, Consumer Science, or Microbiology
DUTIES :
  • Develop detailed, tailored project plans in line with project proposals for all implementation projects.
  • Manage implementation projects to ensure they run efficiently, meeting timelines and deliverables as outlined in the project proposal.
  • Develop, create, update, and tailor compliance documents and checklists for each project to ensure they are of a professional standard, practical for the client, and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Conduct gap audits, internal audits, hygiene audits, and readiness audits to a professional standard, and submit reports within 5 working days of the audit.
  • Prepare for, manage, and facilitate training interventions, ensuring each is conducted professionally and receiving positive delegate feedback.
  • Complete learner assessments according to the company's assessment procedures and processes. Ensure all portfolios and batch QMS documentation are completed accurately and submitted within required timeframes.
  • Attend weekly planning sessions.
  • Coordinate and plan the training and consulting schedule in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales Manager.
  • Liaise with clients in advance to confirm scheduled consultations.
  • Prepare thoroughly for each client consultation to ensure billable time is used productively and efficiently.
  • Accurately account for billable time by providing Client Contact Sheets per visit, per client, cross-referenced with the Project Plan.
  • Report any project deviations or concerns promptly to allow for timely resolution with all relevant parties.
  • Assist in estimating consultation time required for implementation projects by analyzing client checklists and master document lists.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly in response to any client queries or communications.
  • Use available free time or admin days proactively to improve auditing and consulting templates or training materials.
  • Uphold all company QMS processes, policies, and procedures, and suggest improvements where identified.
