Job summary

Vine Recruitment is assisting a client in Rustenburg to recruit for a Technical Manager role responsible for food safety, technical compliance, residue testing, audits and supplier compliance across farming and packhouse operations.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on approach and extensive knowledge of HACCP, GlobalG.A.P., BRC, SIZA and related standards. Experience in farming and packhouse environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with HACCP, GlobalG.A.P., BRC, SIZA Social & Environmental and Farming for the Future.
• Experience in a farming and packhouse environment.
• Experience with residue testing, audits and supplier compliance.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage HACCP, GlobalG.A.P., BRC, SIZA and related compliance requirements.
• Oversee residue testing and investigate pesticide issues.
• Manage supplier, ethical and food-safety audits.
• Maintain retailer and supplier technical approvals.
• Drive food-safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Manage technical documentation and due diligence processes.
• Train and support farm staff.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
