Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Food Safety and Quality Manager to lead and maintain our food safety and quality assurance systems. This role is key to ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards, comply with legal regulations, and are manufactured in a safe and hygienic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Food Science, Quality Control, or a related food industry discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a food manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Management System.
  • Ensure all food safety and quality programs are effectively communicated, and facilitate training and engagement across all levels of staff and management.
  • Guarantee compliance with all relevant food safety legislation and standards, ensuring that products are consistently safe, legal, and of high quality.
  • Lead the execution and ongoing management of the company’s Health and Safety policy.
  • Manage all aspects of the Quality Control function, including supervision and development of the Quality Control and Cleaning teams.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and accountability throughout the organization.
