Job description

Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager

ANEW Hotel Hilton is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and exceeding customer expectations through efficient and friendly service, coupled with a positive attitude. The position is based in KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Matric qualification
  2. Hospitality Certificate or Hospitality Management Diploma (advantageous)
  3. At least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry within a 4-star property
  4. Minimum of 18 months of management or supervisory experience
  5. Standards-oriented mindset
  6. Good knowledge of Food and Beverage operations
  7. High level of customer service, numeracy skills, discipline, organization, attention to detail, and cost control skills
  8. Excellent communication skills in English and IsiZulu and/or IsiXhosa (advantageous)
  9. Self-motivated and ambitious
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  11. Effective time management skills
Additional Skills and Experience:

Experience in culinary arts, restaurant operations, food service, hotel management, bartending, guest relations, POS systems (Taleo, Micros), supervising, and hospitality management.
