Food and Beverage Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead the F&B department at their exclusive 5-star game lodge. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences by overseeing all dining outlets, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone passionate about fine dining and luxury service, with the ability to thrive in a remote lodge environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, and event setups.
• Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and Lodge Management on menu design, special events, and beverage pairing.
• Maintain stock control, supplier relations, and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Uphold the lodge’s 5-star service standards and enhance the overall guest experience.

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an F&B management role within a luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, including fine dining etiquette.
• Proven ability to manage staff, budgets, and inventory effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering world-class service.
• Willingness to live and work in a remote, bush-based environment.
