Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful trade marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of the retail landscape and shopper marketing principles in South Africa.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with retail analytics tools.
• Knowledge of the Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape retail environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing plans to support brand objectives and sales targets.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand retailer needs and develop tailored trade programs.
• Manage the execution of in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising activities.
• Analyze trade marketing effectiveness and ROI, making recommendations for improvement.
• Build strong relationships with key retail partners to ensure optimal brand presence and execution.
• Manage trade marketing budgets effectively, ensuring all activities are delivered within allocated costs.
• Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform trade strategies.
• Oversee the design and production of POS materials and promotional items.
