Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled FMCG Supply Chain Analyst to join its Richards Bay-based team. The role focuses on optimizing procurement-to-delivery processes through data-driven insights, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration across procurement, logistics and operations.

The ideal candidate will bring 2–4 years in supply chain analysis, proficiency in Excel and SQL, and a strong grasp of FMCG logistics, inventory management, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations, preferably FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor supply chain performance and report findings to management.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics and operations to implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock levels.
• Support implementation of new SCM technologies and systems to enhance efficiency.
• Review supplier performance and contribute to negotiations for favorable terms.
